SRINAGAR: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Central Rserve Police Force (CRPF) committed suicide by shooting himself in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said here today.
They said panic gripped in Deputy Inspector General (DIG) CRPF office at Baramulla when some firing shots were heard.
They said other CRPF personnel rushed to the spot and saw ASI Ravinder, who had recently joined his duties, in a pool of blood.
