SRINAGAR: Security forces busted a militant hideout and recovered war-like stores in the woods in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, official sources said here today.
They said on a specific information 14 Rashitriya Rifles (RR) and state police launched a joint operation in the forest at Kundara in Bandipora.
After a long search, security forces busted a hideout in the dense forest, they said, adding the arms and ammunition recovered included two AK 47 rifles, five AK magazines, one UBGL, 200 rounds of AK ammunition, two wireless sets, one 9mm pistol, 46 UBGL grenades and two hand grenades.
