Admit Cards, ID’s to be Treated As Curfew Passes on Friday

SRINAGAR: Authorities in Kashmir say the admit cards containing photographs of the candidates of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) (KAS Mains) shall be treated as curfew passes.

This, so that the candidates do not face any inconvenience in reaching the exam centres during curfew on Friday.

According to Deputy Secretary, Public Service Commission, the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) (KAS Mains) commenced on March 02, 2013 shall conclude on March 26, 2013 as per the already issued date sheet, an official spokesperson said.

The examination centre has been set up at Government Amar Singh College.

Tha authorities also said the identity cards of Health/Electric department employees will be treated as curfew passes.

An official spokesman said the valid identity cards of the employees of Health and Electric Departments shall be treated as curfew passes allowing them to move during the curfew period for performing their duties.

Pertinently, on Wednesday police allegedly beat up a group of dpoctors and paramedics of Gousia hospital Khanyar citing violation of curfew at Rajouri Kadal in Srinagar.

No action has been taken against the erring cops so far.

Meanwhile, according to Chief Education Officer, Pulwama, all those candidates of the district who have applied for the post of Lecturer (10+2) on contractual basis are informed to appear in the written test being held on March 09, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Higher Secondary School, Litter, Pulwama.
