SRINAGAR: The Hizbul Mujahideen militant group has alleged that some “unknown persons” who have no link to the group are collecting funds on its behalf.
It has asked people to remain conscious of these ‘elements’ and identity them. The outfit has further warned that such elements will have to face the dire consequences in future.
“The persons collecting funds on behalf of Hizb are criminals and agents of Indian forces, the outfit expects that people will identity them so that severe punishment to the persons could be given,” reads a statement issued to a local news agency, KNS.
