SRINAGAR: All arrangements are in place for the grand success of three-day ‘ Saffron Festival’ for which the Tourism Development Corporation (TDC) has already announced 50 per cent discount on lodging and boarding for tourists.
Officials said here the modalities for three-day Saffron Festival, commencing from October 29 at Dusoo in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, have been finalised at an officers meeting held under the chairmanship of Director Tourism, Kashmir Talat Parvez here today.
Officers of S K University of Agriculture Science and Technology (SKUAST, Agro Industries Development Corporation, representatives of Tour Operators of Kashmir and Saffron Growers were present on the occasion.
