SRINAGAR: A scooterist was killed and his pillion mate was injured when a vehicle hit them at apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said here today.
They said an unknown vehicle hit a scooter at Model Town, Sopore, resulting in on the spot death of scooterist Ashiq Hussain (22) and injuries to his pillion mate.
The injured was admitted to hospital, they said adding police has launched a massive hunt to trace the vehicle.
