SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and Speaker Legislative Assembly greeted people on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr, being celebrated throughout the Kashmir valley tonight.
In a message of greetings, Mr Vohra hoped that this auspicious occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of amity, peace, progress and prosperity in the state.
The Governor prayed for the well-being of people of the State.
Speaker Mubarak Gul also greeted the people on the eve of Shab-e-Qadar.
In his felicitation message, Mr Gul expressed hope that the Shab would usher an era of peace and prosperity in the state.
Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Nazir Ahmad Gurezi also greeted people on the occasion.
