The SIT will be headed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Khansahib, a police statement has said.

Syed Gulzar Ahmed Bhat, who ran a seminary of sorts for girls in Budgam, was arrested last week after four students complained to the police that he had repeatedly raped them at the hostel.
