SRINAGAR: There indeed is romance in the Himalayan valley of gardens, lakes and meadows. And film and TV serial crews are keen to cash it.
After films like ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, the cast and crew of the TV show Balika Vadhu is now coming to the valley for an outdoor shoot.
In the serial the lead female actor Anandi (Toral Rasputra) has finally admitted to her love for Shiv (Siddharth Shukla) and the couple will soon depart for their honeymoon.
And it is here in Kashmir that their romance will blossom.”
The unit will shoot in picturesque locations like Gulmarg, Dal Lake, Tulip Garden, Lal Chowk and Pari Mahal. Toral and Siddharth are excited about the trip.
“They plan to go sightseeing and will gorge on local food. They are leaving next week and will shoot there for a week,” the Hindustan Times reports.
“I haven’t been to Kashmir yet, but my family has and they rave about the place. I’m going to try my hand at some adventure sports and just soak in the beauty,” an excited Siddharth told the newspaper.
Another TV crew of the epic serial ‘Mahabharata’ is already shooting in Kashmir.
