JAMMU: Schools in winter capital Jammu region will break for a short winter vacation on December 24, officials have said.
“All government institutions including recognized Private Schools up to 12th class falling in summer zone of Jammu Division shall observe winter vacations w.e.f. December 24,” an official spokesperson said.
The vacations are scheduled to end on December 29.
“Any default on the part of Private Schools in observance of the calendar of vacations so authorized shall attract action under rules,” the spokesperson quoted an order of the school education department as having said.
