SRINAGAR, Aug 22: A soldier of the Border Security Force (BSF) is missing after a cloudburst occured in Tulail near the Line of Control between India an d Pakistan, officials say.
They say five BSF soldiers have been injured and a security post and eight residential houses have been swept away after a cloudburst occurred on Wednesday morning near the LoC in northern Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The injured have been sent to hospital for medical help, they said, and efforts are on to trace the missing soldier.
The cloudburst triggered a landslide but there was no report of any civilian casualty.
