SRINAGAR: An elderly person was attacked and injured by a bear in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said here today.
They said the bear entered village Shahabad Tral from nearby forest in south Kashmir. ‘
However, before the villagers could do anything, the bear attacked and injured 80-year-old Mohammad Jabber.
The injured was later admitted to hospital, they said, adding the bear then escaped into the forest.
