SRINAGAR: Three people were killed and 15 others were injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here today.
They said two women Kheteji Begum and Shakeela Begum were killed on the spot and eight others were injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling collided with an oil tanker at Seloo, Sopore, in north Kashmir.
The injured were admitted to hospitals A vehicle hit and injured a woman Zahida at Zalangam Kokernag in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
She was rushed hospital where she was declared brought dead. They said five passengers were wounded when a vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road at Sangam on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
The injured were hospitalised. Two people were injured when two vehicles collided at Chattergam in the central Kashmir district of Badgam. The injured were admitted to hospital, they said.
