SRINAGAR: Twenty-four persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley, police said on Monday.
A statement issued by them said 22 passengers were injured when a bus rammed into a tree at Ashmuqam in Anantnag district of southern valley.
The driver of the bus is among the injured who were shifted to hospital for medical help.
In a separate incident a motorcycle skidded of the road near Khanpora Bridge in north Kashmir’s Baramulla. The rider, Zahid Ahmed Mir was injured.
In central Kashmir’s Budgam, two cars collided at Ichan village, resulting in minor injuries to one of the drivers, Ghulam Hyder Bhat.
